Microsoft fait la promotion d’IE8 via une chasse au trésor

Microsoft ne lâche décidément pas le morceau pour ce qui est de la promotion d’Internet Explorer 8. Après l’opération dont je n’ai pas osé vous parler qui consistait schématiquement à échanger des téléchargements de ladite version de son navigateur web contre des repas pour des personnes dans le besoin (même si dans le fond l’idée est loin d’être mauvaise), Microsoft se lance dans une chasse au trésor – je suppose donc que l’on pourrait appeler cela une e-chasse – dont le lot final n’est autre que la coquette somme de 10 000 dollars. Les indices du jeu seront donnés via Twitter.

Sans surprise, le site ne présente évidemment pas les mêmes informations selon que vous utilisiez un furteur ou l’autre. Avec Firefox, vous pourrez observer :

We’ve buried $10,000 somewhere on the Internet and if you’re the first one to find it, you get to keep it.

But you’ll never find it using old Firefox. (So get rid of it, or get lost.)
